What is an apostille?
An apostille is an international certification that authenticates documents for use in countries that are part of the Hague Convention. Whether one is needed depends on the destination, receiving institution and document. Florida, other-state and federal documents may require different issuing authorities.
How do I get an apostille in Florida?
We prepare your documents and notarize them as needed, then guide you through submitting to the Florida Secretary of State. The issuing authority determines eligibility, processing times and fees. We do not issue apostilles or guarantee expedited government processing.
What is LiveScan fingerprinting?
LiveScan is electronic fingerprinting that captures your fingerprints digitally and submits them directly to the FBI or FDLE for background checks. Results are faster than traditional ink fingerprinting.
What do I need for a LiveScan appointment?
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and the ORI number (Originating Agency Identifier) provided by the agency requiring your background check. Obtain the correct ORI or program instructions from the requesting agency before your visit.
How long does an FBI background check take?
Processing times depend on the receiving agency and the background-check program. Ask the requesting agency how results are delivered and allow for additional review; we cannot guarantee a completion date.
Do you offer walk-in fingerprinting?
Yes, we accept walk-ins for LiveScan fingerprinting during regular business hours. For groups or employer-sponsored fingerprinting, we recommend scheduling ahead.
